Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services seeks a Helicopter Pilot for full-time flight operations, transporting patients using a team-based approach with rigorous safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 2,000 total flight hours in helicopters, FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a Class II medical certificate. Competitive sign-on and retention bonuses are offered along with on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Total flight hours: 2,000; helicopter hours: 2,000; PIC hours: 1,000; turbine hours: 1,000.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time.
• Weight limit: 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from locations with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals and regulatory requirements; maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following protocol for REACH change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
