Job summary

C.A. Fortune is seeking a part-time Spice Merchandiser to service retailers in the Menomonee Falls area from Appleton, WI. You will be merchandising spice products, take photos, and complete reports with provided tech.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel between stores within the designated territory. The role offers weekly pay, PTO and sick days, 401(k) with company match, and paid drive time.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Retail tasks include ordering products and stocking shelves based on new orders.
• Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify client products are accurately represented on store shelves.
• Maintain a safe working environment while in stores.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Overview of the Role

• The Spice Merchandiser will service retailers near the Menomonee Falls, WI area. You will be responsible for merchandising various spice products within assigned Woodman stores. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Location: Appleton, WI(within a 40-60 mile radius)
• This position is part time, 10 / hours a week
• Compensation: $12 hourly
• You will be responsible for selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts.
• Ensure our clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
• You must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
• This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune

• Retail work will entail (but not limited to) ordering products, working product to shelves from new orders, etc.

• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.

• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

What You Should Bring to the Table

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver License
• Proof of Automobile insurance
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required)
