Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to perform complex analyses across supply chain and related focus areas. The role involves monitoring performance, identifying value opportunities, and delivering monthly status reports to strengthen contract performance and savings.

You will work with national and local teams to maintain understanding of contracts and performance, build data-driven recommendations, and support strategic initiatives across the health system.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related data analysis experience using complex data sets required.
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools such as Tableau, including advanced Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Power BI skills.
• Previous experience in healthcare consulting, supply chain, pharmacy, strategic sourcing, business development, finance, or decision support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses of information to produce repeatable results and identify solutions to complex problems.
• Identify and resolve member pricing discrepancies.
• Proactively determine customer needs; develop and recommend solutions from company portfolio.
• Support contract utilization and compliance to support territory sales and revenue goals.
• Conduct research as determined by the Enterprise Client Manager and supporting internal business units to develop programmatic offerings.
• Interpret trends, regulatory changes, and forecasts, and anticipates impact for Member goals.
• Gather and evaluate the quality of purchase data, revenue data, or hospital-specific information needed for cost reduction analyses.
• Design and create data visualizations (charts, graphs, tables, and reports) to support findings and develop executive presentations.
• May present recommendations to management and provide guidance in selecting alternatives.
• Learn and gain expertise in Vizient tools to train member staff and stakeholders.
