Job summary

Palmetto Garage Works, LLC is seeking a Lead Service Technician in Summerville, SC to oversee tune-ups, diagnostics and repair services, and to support shop operations as directed by the Shop Manager. You will lead a team in performing preventive maintenance and high-quality automotive care.

The role focuses on building trusted customer relationships through honest, competent service, with benefits including 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off and a signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Commitment to excellence at all levels of service.
• Advanced automotive experience.
• ASE Certification in Engine Performance, Engine Repair and Brakes (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensuring equipment is functioning properly at all times and performing preventive equipment maintenance.
• Filling in staffing voids, as directed by customer flow, and assisting in oil change bays when necessary.
• Maintaining shop supply inventory and notifying the Shop Manager of reorders as needed.
• Developing trusting customer relationships through honest and competent service.
