Position Overview

Let’s Talk About It Speech Therapy, PLLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist (CCC‑SLP), Clinical Fellow (CF‑SLP), or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in Cypress, Texas.

This unique school‑based opportunity is perfect for a clinician who is proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and is comfortable carrying on conversations using sign language. The position serves students at one middle school (2.5 days per week) and one high school (2.5 days per week), providing a diverse and rewarding caseload.

As an SLP‑owned and therapist‑operated company, we understand the realities of working in public schools because we’re there too. Our leadership team prioritizes communication, clinical support, flexibility, and helping our therapists thrive both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech‑language therapy services to students in middle and high school settings
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals (SLPs/CFs)
• Implement treatment plans under supervision (SLPAs)
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, interpreters, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Utilize American Sign Language (ASL) to effectively communicate with students as needed

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who are:

• CCC‑SLP
• CF‑SLP
• Licensed SLP Assistant (SLPA)

Required:

• Active Texas licensure (or eligible for Texas licensure)
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with the ability to comfortably hold conversations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Preferred:

• School‑based experience
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
