The Lark Center is seeking a Speech Therapy Supervisor to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary group of neurodiversity-affirming clinicians! Our next Speech Therapy Supervisor will be most successful if they are flexible, creative, and motivated to both lead and learn! You will be responsible for evaluating and treating clients using a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach. You will have a variety of clients both individually and in small interest-based groups, working closely alongside other disciplines. You will have an opportunity to mentor junior speech therapists and graduate student clinicians in an innovative and collaborative way!

What You Will Do:
  • Deliver high quality speech and language therapy in individual, small group, and program sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary intakes, evaluations and re-evaluations using a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach.
  • Provide comprehensive supervision to fieldwork students, clinical interns, and junior SLPs.
  • Document sessions clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner using our EMR software.
  • Effectively manage appointments and scheduling using our EMR software.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with families and other providers.
  • Ensure clients’ confidentiality, dignity, and safety at all times.
  • Maintain professional licensure and adhere to all professional practice standards.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, supervisory meetings, and trainings.
  • Carry professional liability insurance. *Recommended, but not required.
What You Will Bring:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited speech language pathology program, and current MA licensure (CCC-SLP)
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a professional setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience providing supervision to graduate level clinical interns.
  • Ability to work independently and with multi-/trans-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience running groups with an ND-affirming social pragmatic lens.
  • Deep understanding of gestalt language processing and total communication approaches.
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) feeding therapy, AAC, and sensory-based interventions!
  • Prior experience in private practice is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.
  • Ability to walk, run, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs as necessary to maintain client safety.
