Summary

We are hiring for a PRN Speech Therapist in the Amarillo area.

Salary based on full-time employment and max productivity: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Speech Therapist (ST, SLP) assesses and evaluates patient needs related to speech and language disorders, communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.

  • Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Evaluates patient function using diagnostic and prognostic tests and assists in developing the therapy plan of care.
  • Treats patients to improve communication effectiveness according to accepted standards.
  • Instructs patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members in speech therapy areas they can participate in.
Education and Experience

License Requirements

  • Must be currently licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
