Job summary

Nightingale Home Healthcare in Florida is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for part-time home health therapy. Evaluate patients, develop plans, and deliver therapy in patients' homes across Broward & Palm Beach Counties, with per-visit compensation starting at $75.0 per visit.

We offer flexible scheduling, mileage/time reimbursement, PTO, and supportive team collaboration. Home-based care emphasizes patient independence and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP with current credentials.
• Minimum 1 year SLP experience preferred.
• OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) experience strongly preferred.
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to first patient contact.
• TB test within 12 months & CPR certification valid.
• Valid driver's license & proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to attend a 3 day orientation at our office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and administer therapy in the home.
• Supervise COTAs and HHAs according to the treatment plan.
• Chart patient progress, maintain medical records, and submit notes timely.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Review and recommend adaptive equipment or home modifications as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate total patient care and submit referrals for paramedical services.
