Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide patient-centered care at a SNF in Washington, GA. This PRN position focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, with emphasis on dysphagia and communication therapy.

The role offers up to $130,000 annually, with experience-based compensation, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth within a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program.
• Current SLP license in state of practice.
• CFY candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care preferred.
• Foreign-trained applicants require ASHA evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
