Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist for our Covington SNF location. This on-site role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, with full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling and compensation up to $130,000 annually plus a sign-on bonus.

Applicants should hold a Master's in SLP from an ASHA-accredited program and a current state license; CFY considered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in SLP from ASHA-accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Foreign-trained applicants must have ASHA-equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.

Education

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice

Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable

Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred
