Job summary

East Ridge Village is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide rehabilitative therapy for communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

The clinician will document outcomes with objective measures, aim for recovery and return to prior functioning where possible, and report to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Must have current and active license with the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
