Job summary

Santana Hills Healthcare Center in San Jose, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers multiple work arrangements including full-time, part-time, PRN, or per diem, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a 167-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid SLP license or state certification.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians, educators, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.

Santana Hills Healthcare Center is a 167-bed facility with 90 skilled nursing beds and 77 sub-acute beds, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care for rapid recovery in a central San Jose location.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create personalized therapy plans that improve quality of life and communication outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
