Job summary

Aspire Home Healthcare of Ohio is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our home health team in Dublin, OH. This part-time role focuses on delivering one-on-one patient care in patients' homes, assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

The SLP will supervise assistants, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians, families, and other providers. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, paid time off, referral bonuses, and regular merit

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in OH
• Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience preferred
• Current TB test (within the last 12 months) and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to attend a 1-2 day orientation at our Dublin office

Responsibilities

• Provide effective patient care using approved therapy techniques and procedures
• Evaluate patients’ functional levels, treatment needs, and progress toward goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders
• Supervise Speech Therapy Assistants (STAs) and coordinate patient care
• Document treatments, progress notes, and care plan updates accurately and on time
• Assist patients and families in developing and reviewing home programs
• Recommend adaptive equipment and evaluate home settings when needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Complete discharge summaries and obtain necessary orders at case completion

Position Overview:
