Job summary

HealthPartners in Minnesota is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care in an inpatient rehab setting. You will work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations using diverse speech therapy techniques to restore function and reduce pain.

This role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure/certification through the Minnesota Board, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed/registered/certified with applicable governing Speech Language Pathology board(s) and Minnesota Department of Health.
• CPR Certification (Basic Life Support).

• Use a variety of speech therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.

Job description

Regions has an on calling opening available in our Inpatient Rehab department. In this position you will provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This position uses a variety of speech therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• 2 weekend shifts per month
• 1 holiday per year
• Ability to pick up additional weekday or weekend shifts as volume demands.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed/registered/certified with applicable governing Speech Language Pathology board(s) and Minnesota Department of Health.
• CPR Certification (Basic Life Support).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in similar setting/diagnoses
• Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
