Overview

Pediatricspeech therapist position working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, in outpatient and inpatient settings. With experience, opportunitiesmay beavailable in specialty areas,including NICU. Seeking a team-player with excellent communication skills,strong evidence-based practice, caring attitude towards all patients and their families, and effective time management / organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluations, re-evaluations and ongoing direct patient care with children from birth to 18 years
• Management of a highly diverse caseload including treatment of feeding and swallowing, language, articulation, and cognitive disorders
• Coordination of care with other providers

Qualifications

Education:

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech Therapy/Communication Disordersprogram
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology
• Alabama Speech Language Pathology license

Experience:

• Experience required with pediatric feeding, swallowing, and modified barium swallow studies

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
