Master's degree in communications disorder/speech-language pathology required.
Arkansas license as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligible to obtain license within 1 month from date of hire.
Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible pending completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities:
Participates in multi-disciplinary and department communication, which may include patient care discussions and/or meetings, unit/department clinic/hospital meetings.
Provides education, which may include serving as a clinical instructor, serving as a mentor for a clinical observer, and providing education to other disciplines within UAMS and/or the community.
Documents patient evaluation/treatment/education and submits accurate and timely charges according to regulatory policies.
Provides comprehensive evaluations of patients using appropriate tests/measures based on populations.
Formulates an individualized plan of care. This includes an assessment of speech/language skills and vision/hearing screenings appropriate for the age of the client.
Performs other duties as assigned.
