ephraimmcdowell is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders in an outpatient setting.
You will work within department policies, maintain compassionate care, and possibly a flexible schedule. Prior clinical internship is preferred. Equipment usage includes computer-based therapies and other therapeutic tools, with a focus on FRIENDLY, INNOVATIVE and RESPECTFUL service.
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders, according to department policy and procedure. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
Works inside a typical therapy setting, outpatient clinic, or off ground/unit activities as indicated. May be required to work a flexible schedule. Exposure to stress of dealing with patients/families experiencing pain/discomfort or who have physical/mental disabilities.
Has contact with patients and patient family members, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, physicians, and other department Associates.
Computer, communication, therapeutic/technical skills.
