Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for assigned patients. The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active or provisional state license, with ASHA certification within 1 year and current BLS.

Emergency responsiveness is necessary. Preferred candidates have about 1 year of experience and comfort working with patients across all ages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable State of practice.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certified.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience; age-diverse patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals.
• Respond to emergency situations as required.
