Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Speech Therapist to evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, social communication, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. You will collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, 1–3 years of clinical experience, and proficiency in documenting progress while ensuring billing

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• 1-3 years of clinical, hospital, or rehabilitation setting experience.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication, social communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve outcomes.
• Works with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Performs MBS evaluations and communicates results with Radiology and team.
• Maintains accurate documentation of interventions and patient progress in the medical record.
• Ensures proper coding and charge logs for billing and compliance.
