Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster is seeking a Speech Therapist for a per diem role with compensation up to $60 per hour and weekly pay. You will assess residents, contribute to care planning, and provide direct treatment within a skilled nursing facility.

The position requires appropriate licensure, a degree in speech therapy, and strong communication skills. Prior long-term care experience is preferred; opportunities for career advancement and competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Therapy (BS or MS) required.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.
• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems and interact with all staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents for rehabilitation services.
• Develops and implements individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Provides direct patient/resident treatment and consultation.
• Participates in the clinical team process and quality improvement activities.
• Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers.
• Demonstrates ability for continuous learning to stay current in the field.
