A leading healthcare provider in Minnesota is seeking a speech-language pathologist to work with a diverse patient population in both acute care and rehabilitation settings. The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with relevant qualifications. The position offers flexible scheduling, a supportive work culture, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and tuition reimbursement.
We are seeking a speech-language pathologist to serve a mix of patients from our acute care floors (ICU, neuro, trauma and med/surg) and those admitted to our 21-bed Rehabilitation Center, our CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. Experience in stroke, brain injury, and/or complex medical conditions is preferred. Experience facilitating and interpreting video fluoroscopic swallow studies preferred. Experience with evaluation of speaking and swallowing for those with tracheostomy is preferred but not required. We work collaboratively as an interdisciplinary team so strong problem solving and communication skills are needed. Onboarding support is included, and we pride ourselves on our welcoming and supportive culture. Yearly continuing education time and money as well as a paid MedBridge subscription are benefits of this position. This is a flex position with 3, 8-hour days (Tues, Wed, and Fridays) and 2 half days (Mondays and Thursdays 8-12:30). If volume/demand allows, half day hours will be extended.
