Job summary

St. David's Georgetown Hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to help patients improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through evidence-based care.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and rehabilitation staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a well-supported clinical environment that values clinical judgment and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Eligibility/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams.
