Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a Speech Therapist- Developmental Peds to conduct assessments and operate specialty clinics for children at the Jacksonville Campus. The role includes developing developmental outcomes, coaching a multidisciplinary team, and mentoring speech-language interns.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Florida SLP license, and CCC-SLP/ASHA credentials preferred. Travel between center and community settings may be involved.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with a major emphasis in speech-language pathology.
• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in accordance with Section 468, Florida Statutes and Rule Chapter 64B20, F.A.C.

Responsibilities

• Assessments/evaluations for children; run specialty clinics in the center and community.
• Develop, communicate and monitor developmental outcomes; mentor/coach team.
• Conduct developmental evaluations across domains using standardized tools and observations.
• Provide trainings and support groups to families; staff and professionals."
• Provide mentorship and training to speech and language interns.
• Run specialty clinics within the center and/or community.
• Collaborate as part of the multidisciplinary team to develop developmental outcomes.
