Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and deliver individualized treatment plans for assigned patients, in line with departmental policies on referrals.

Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Licensure: current or provisional SLP license in Missouri. Certifications include ASHA within 1 year of hire and BLS; must be able to respond to emergencies.

Preferred: one year of experience; experience with patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in Missouri.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire (extension at leader's discretion).
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• One year of experience preferred; experience with patients of all ages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for assigned patients.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed.
