Speech Therapist (SLP) - Colonial Vista Post Acute, Wenatchee, WA

Pay: $45-$55 per hour (DOE)

PRN Rate: $50-$65 per hour

We're looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team and provide exceptional, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

General Purpose

The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians, and the care team, and maintains documentation of services in the medical record. The SLP also provides staff education and participates in interdisciplinary meetings to support quality outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients within 24 hours (or one business day) of physician referral and document any delays.
  • Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans with physician approval.
  • Provide direct therapy services in line with the prescribed care plan.
  • Supervise SLP Assistants and clinical fellows per state practice standards.
  • Document all evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and recertifications per policy and payer requirements.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and staff in-service training sessions.
  • Instruct families and caregivers in therapy techniques and discharge planning.
  • Maintain compliance with Washington State SLP licensure requirements and professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Washington State SLP license (or eligibility).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and team members.
  • Proficient in therapy documentation systems (e.g., Casamba, PointClickCare).
  • Previous post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehab experience preferred.
