Job summary

Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN/on-call support. The role involves evaluating residents, creating treatment plans, and delivering speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy in a rehabilitation setting.

Collaboration with physicians, nursing, and rehab teams is essential, along with documenting progress and educating families.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current Utah Speech Language Pathologist license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents and families on therapy goals and home programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.

What You'll Need

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Utah
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or related settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
