Job summary

Applicants must hold a Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license and a current BLS certification, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current license as Speech Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and educate patients with speech, language, dysphagia, dysarthria, voice, fluency and cognitive deficits.

Clear Lake - AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a Part Time Speech Therapist (ST/SLP).

The Speech Therapist is responsible for screening, evaluating and educating patients with speech, language, dysphagia, dysarthria, voice, fluency, and cognitive deficits. Speech therapists are also responsible for planning, directing and conducting rehabilitative and counseling programs to treat the above disorders. All Speech Therapy treatments are in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.

Job Requirements

• Current Texas Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.
