Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia in Woodbridge, VA, invites you to join our team as a Speech Pathologist. Provide evaluation, plan, and therapy for patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient setting with supportive care.

You will work with a collaborative team, maintain documentation, and contribute to patient progress using contemporary therapy approaches and technology.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC Certification (ASHA)
