Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist at our Middletown location to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You'll assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans, document progress, and adapt therapy as needed in a collaborative inpatient setting.

Qualifications include state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree preferred.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Speech-Language Pathology).
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
