Job summary

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) seeks a dedicated Speech Pathologist to support children and adults with developmental disabilities in community settings. You will help clients strengthen communication, increase independence, and improve quality of life across homes, day programs, and communities.

Responsibilities include assessments, individualized treatment plans, one-on-one and group therapy, and collaboration with families and staff to ensure person-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech and Language Pathology with NY licensure.
• TSHH certification by NYSED is preferred.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of speech and language for people with developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one and group speech and language therapy services.
• Collaborate with families, residential staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support outcomes.
• Advocate for communication rights and needs of people we support.
• Provide training to agency staff on communication strategies and techniques.
• Coordinate with day programs, residences, families, and community providers.
• Participate in treatment reviews and service planning.
