Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Speech Pathologist to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults in hospital and outpatient settings.

Requirements include CCC-SLP, AR license, CAA-accredited program completion, and CPR. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred, with 12–18 months related experience encouraged. This role operates in a safety-sensitive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) accredited program.
• 12–18 months related experience preferred (excluding clinical affiliations).
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Arkansas Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing required.
• CPR certification required.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children and adults.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document patient care accurately.

SUMMARY:

Responsible and accountable for working to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a speech-language pathology program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
• Preferred experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree; must be able to do Modified Barium Swallow Test
• Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Current Arkansas Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing required
• Current CPR certification
• Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctoral Degree
