Responsibilities

1. Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history, administering tests, and synthesizing results to develop diagnostic impressions and goals.
2. Establish a care plan with measurable, realistic goals in collaboration with patients and families.
3. Perform age-appropriate therapeutic treatments, adjusting based on reassessment outcomes.
4. Modify care based on patient needs, including communication with patients and referrals to other professionals.
5. Document all activities accurately, reflecting understanding of reimbursement and billing processes.
6. Perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for periods as required.
7. Participate in department and organizational initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's Degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Preferred:

• Doctoral Degree in speech-language pathology.
• Experience preferred; CF/entry level acceptable.

Licenses and Certifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
• State license in New Jersey or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, starting 01/01/2024.
