Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver expert language and communication therapy in a supportive inpatient setting. You will assess patients, design individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a caring multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current licensure, CCC, CPR certification (or within 30 days), and a master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC certification.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
