The Speech-Language Pathologist, with an unrestricted Massachusetts license, is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment services for patients referred with speech, language and/or swallowing disorders. Services are provided on an outpatient basis.
Our Speech Pathology team services patients who have a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders at the inpatient and outpatient levels. Our team currently works with adults at the inpatient level, adults and pediatrics at the outpatient level, and completes adult video fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).
We are currently looking for a Speech Pathologist who provides skilled speech-language and swallowing services as assigned to pediatrics in the outpatient setting on alternating Saturday mornings (2-3x/month) at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in accordance with State Licensure Statute and Regulations, Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, applicable federal, state and regulatory agencies’ standards and regulations, hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Bilingual therapists are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience working with pediatrics at the outpatient level, especially in expressive and receptive language, and evaluation and treatment of children who use Alternative Augmentative Communication devices, is highly desirable. Bilingual therapists are encouraged to apply.
Education
Master's Degree in Speech Therapy required. This role does not accept experience in lieu of a degree.
