Job summary

Saint Luke's Home Health in Missouri is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to join our North Branch team. You will provide evaluation, treatment and counseling for clients with speech-language, cognitive-communication, or oral-pharyngeal impairments in a home health setting.

This PRN role requires flexibility to work one shift per week or as needed, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and supervising students when assigned.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience in speech-language pathology.
• Current BLS certification.
• BS in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, screening, evaluation, and management of speech-language disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
• Reassess progress and contribute to discharge planning.
• May supervise students and assistants.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Document timely per policy and insurance requirements.
• Ensure safety for self and patients.
• Participate in quality initiatives.

Saint Luke's Home Health is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to join our North Branch Team! Provides prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, management and counseling services to clients with speech/ language, cognitive-communication and /or oral-pharyngeal sensorimotor impairments. Plans directs and conducts habilitative, rehabilitative and counseling programs to treat impairments involving verbal and written language.

• Remote – MO, this is a PRN position. Working in Northland or others areas depending on need and working a minimum of 1 shift per week.
• Evaluates patients after impairment, injury, or disease.
• Creates an individualized patient-centered treatment plan based on evidenced based practice and selects appropriate interventions based upon evaluation and assessment of patient.
• Re-evaluates and provides periodic reassessment of patient progress and contributes to discharge planning.
• May supervise treatment provided by students and assistants.
• Participates and makes recommendations for client care interventions to the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided.
• Provides timely documentation per department and/or entity policy and as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, reimbursement requirements, and physician treatment plan.
• Uses professional judgment to ensure safety to self, patients, and others at all times.
• Performs all other duties as requested by manager.
• Participates in quality initiatives
• Meets system and departmental shift requirements
