Job Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated per diem Speech Pathologist with pediatric experience to join our team of healthcare professionals in Morristown. The position requires availability for various shifts during the week, including covering for Team Members on PTO, and one late afternoon/early evening shift per week.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Working within a team of outpatient pediatric rehabilitation specialists, including NICU follow-up patients.
  2. Evaluating pediatric outpatients for speech-language and swallowing/feeding difficulties.
  3. Designing and implementing SLP plans of care based on findings and evidence-based practice.
  4. Documenting interactions and managing electronic medical records confidently.
  5. Providing education to patients, families, and caregivers.
  6. Ensuring customer satisfaction, quality of care, and patient safety.
  7. Collaborating with other rehab professionals, physicians, nurses, case managers, and social workers.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited SLP postgraduate program required.

License/Certifications: Fully certified and licensed in NJ required.

Minimum Experience: 2+ years working with pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders; NICU experience preferred.
