Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services for patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and BLS; CCC-SLP is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Two years' speech language pathology experience is preferred.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
  • CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required per AH policy.
  • ASHA CCC certification is preferred.

  • Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
  • Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
  • Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
  • Supervises assistants and support staff.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
  • Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
  • Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required
Essential Functions:
