Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders within a collaborative inpatient setting. You’ll develop personalized plans, document progress, and adapt therapy based on patient response, contributing to meaningful outcomes.

The role requires CCC certification, state licensure, and CPR. A Master’s degree is preferred; a Bachelor’s with related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• CCC certification required for Clinical Certification.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; bachelor's degree with field experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
• Celebrate patient victories and support families and care teams.
