UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening a new 11-story inpatient rehabilitation facility in spring 2025, featuring 78 beds and advanced technology to promote recovery. The team provides comprehensive, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment, supporting professional development and certifications. The center offers therapies including physical, occupational, speech, recreational, and music therapy.

Job Description:

Diagnose, evaluate, and treat individuals with communication issues such as speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement therapeutic programs to improve speech and language skills.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Clinical fellowship and Certificate of Clinical Competence must be obtained within the specified timeframe. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA). CPR certification is required.
