Job summary

Encompass Health in the United States is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver individualized assessment and treatment for patients with speech and language needs. You will work within a team focused on compassionate post-acute rehabilitation and measurable progress.

You will evaluate, develop and document treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapy as needed while contributing to a supportive, patient-centered environment across our nationwide network of rehab facilities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree

Bachelor’s degree with field experience

CCC – Certification of Clinical Competence
