Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a Waynesboro, Virginia location. You will develop personalized therapy plans and track patient progress in a supportive inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or CPR within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and develop personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
