Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language needs in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will develop personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The organization emphasizes empathy, growth, and excellence as part of the nation’s largest rehabilitation company.

Qualifications

• State licensure or certification required by regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or eligible.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred

Bachelor’s degree with field experience

Licensure required by state regulations
