Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language challenges in a inpatient rehab setting. You will work within a collaborative team delivering high-quality therapy to help patients regain communication skills and confidence.

The role requires current state licensure, CCC, and CPR (within 30 days of hire). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed or in good standing.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
