Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide advanced speech and language rehabilitation services. You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role emphasizes documentation of progress, ongoing assessment, and adapting therapy to maximize patient outcomes within a supportive, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
