Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes developing personalized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery across our nationwide rehabilitation network.

Qualifications

• CCC certification required or expected
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
• Current licensure or state regulation compliance required
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with applicable experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy approaches as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress with the care team.
