Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer individualized plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You’ll identify issues, adjust therapy as needed, and diligently document progress.

You’ll track patient outcomes, celebrate small victories, and contribute to a supportive team in a leading national inpatient rehabilitation network.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA Certification) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment when necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
