Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide compassionate therapy to patients across our inpatient rehabilitation services. You will assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to improve speech and communication abilities, and document progress to guide ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
