Job summary

Encompass Health in Alabama seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs on a full-time basis. You will develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at a nationwide rehabilitation system.

The role requires state licensure or certification, CCC credential, CPR or willingness to obtain, and a master's degree (or bachelor's with related experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
