Job summary

Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Montoursville, PA is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive therapy to patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient setting.

You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication outcomes for patients across the community.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC Certification
