Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in Lewiston, Maine. You will develop and administer personalized treatment plans, document progress, and adjust therapy as needed in a collaborative clinical setting.

Required: state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR (within 30 days of hire). A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
